Candidates for New York City Council - 49th District

On February 24th, 2009 voters on Staten Island's North Shore elected a new Council Member. NYLCVEF and the Natural Resources Protective Association (NRPA) partnered to raise awareness around water quality and water access issues in that election by engaging and educating voters.

As part of the nonpartisan campaign, NYLCVEF developed a survey to help educate voters on each candidate's positions. Click on a candidate name to view a candidate profile that includes their survey responses.
