As communications director, Dan Hendrick oversees NYLCV's blogs and Web site, and serves as the primary point of contact for journalists. Dan was most recently the editor in chief of the Queens Chronicle, a 160,000-circ. weekly newspaper. He was previously the assistant news editor at Greenwich Time, a Tribune-owned daily in Connecticut, and his work has also appeared in the New York Times, Newsday and other publications. Dan's first book, "Jamaica Bay," was published by Arcadia Publishing in 2006. He is a graduate of Columbia University and a U.S. Navy veteran. -->
