New York City Run-Off Election on Tuesday, September 29th!While voters have spoken in the 25th Council District race for now, two citywide offices have still not been decided. None of the Democratic candidates running for New York City Comptroller or Public Advocate received 40 percent of the vote on September 15th. This means that a run-off election has been called for the first- and second-place finishers and voters have been asked to cast a ballot on Tuesday, September 29th for these two offices. The Public Advocate and Comptroller have significant say on parks and environmental issues in general. That's why the run-off election is a great opportunity to find out where the candidates stand on cleaner, greener and additional parks for your community. Below you will find a list of candidates running in this Democratic run-off election and how to contact them. Be sure to ask them what they would do for parks in the 25th Council District and then go to the polls on Tuesday, September 29th and cast your ballot.
