ELECTION UPDATE - CLICK HERE TO SEE HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE SEPTEMBER 29TH RUN-OFF ELECTION!

In the recent primary election NYLCVEF partnered with the Jackson Heights Beautification Group to raise this issue in the 2009 primary election for New York City Council.

Our program will continue in the general election as we seek to educate voters about the role their next Council Member could play in solving the 25th District's parks problem and engage them to vote for the candidate they feel has the best plan.

We encourage everyone to stay active advocating for more parks in the District. Here's what you can do:

  1. Sign our petition to tell the candidates for office that these issues are important to you - click here.

  2. Vote on November 3rd - click here to find your polling place.

  3. Contact the candidates and find out where they stand on these issues - click here.
