Click above to download the Action PlanThe Town of Brookhaven is at a critical juncture in its long history. The Town Board, led by a new supervisor, must chart a course for the future through a deteriorating economy and persistent environmental concerns.

While a number of policy initiatives must be undertaken to achieve a fully sustainable Brookhaven, we believe that the steps in this Brookhaven Six-Month Action Plan, as outlined by the Education Fund, are absolutely necessary to set the town on a path toward a more sustainable future.

We call on the Town Board to not only support but to actively implement this plan within six months. Fully adopting this road map within that time frame will help make the town a leader in sustainable development and improve the local economy.
