New York City Program

In New York City, NYLCVEF works with local environmental groups to educate the public on environmental issues and hold elected officials accountable for their campaign pledges. Efforts include the formation of an environmental advisory group, the development of a set of environmental priorities, tracking environmental legislation in the City Council, a report on the mayor’s environmental performance, and an evaluation of the effectiveness of the City Council as a legislative body.
