Our Work

The NYLCV Education Fund is at the forefront of urging New York State to prioritize sustainability.  Our efforts reach all sectors - elected officials, policymakers, businesses, community groups and grassroots citizens.  Our programs educate and engage these constituencies on environmental issues and the environmental decision-making processes at all levels of government.

NYLCVEF uses a variety of tactics to educate the public and elected officials on environmental issues and to engage New York residents in environmental advocacy.  We produce educational publications, hold forums on conservation issues, conduct civic engagement campaigns, and administer a robust internship program.  Click on the links below to find out more detail about each of our program areas:
