It offers specific policy recommendations to members of the New York State Assembly and Senate that will help improve the environment and the economy. Encompassing clean energy, sustainable development, mass transit and much more, the ten-step guide seeks to protect New York's water and air, while creating jobs and building better infrastructure

"Our 2010 State Policy Agenda focuses on creative solutions that will help restore New York's reputation as an environmental leader," said. "These are not blue-sky recommendations. These are specific and incremental steps that will help New York's environment, control costs and improve the economy - exactly the kind of solutions New York needs now."

NYLCVEF's 2010 New York State Policy Agenda was developed in consultation with environmental, economic, transportation and open space organizations around the state.
