Katherine Kennedy

Kit Kennedy is a Clinical Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. She is Counsel to the Air & Energy Program at the Natural Resources Defense Council, with special expertise in energy efficiency, clean energy, global warming, and air and water pollution.

From 2007 to 2010, Kit served as Special Deputy Attorney General for Environmental Protection in the Office of the New York State Attorney General, where she was responsible for the management, supervision, and direction of the New York State Attorney General’s Office Environmental Protection Bureau. She has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law.

Ms. Kennedy received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1986 and her A.B. from Harvard University in 1982.
